About Calypso HSMM

Features

Newly Designed Calypso HSMM:

Calypso HSMM combines a comprehensive mill-model with a detailed physics-based microstructure evolution model.  In this way, it combines the "processing", "structure" and "properties" sides of the materials triangle. The built-in models within Calypso HSMM can be used to design new steel chemistries and thermomechanical processing schedules. Equally important is the fact that Calypso HSMM allows users to replace any of the built-in microstructure models with their own models or third part models. Calypso HSMM is not simply  a "model of the hot mill," it is a platform that can be used to integrate all of your company's models into one powerful design tool.
